Avukat Prof. Dr. EROL ULUSOY

Prof. Dr. Erol ULUSOY was born in 1966 in Kırıkkale, Turkey.
Between 1977-1980, he studied at Hasanoğlan Atatürk Teacher Training School.
Between 1980-1984, he attended Ankara Police College.
Between 1984-1986, he studied at the Police Academy.
In 1989, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law.
In 1996, he graduated from the University of Vienna Faculty of Law.
In 1995, he completed his Doctorate in Law at the University of Vienna with his dissertation on
“Minderheitenschutz in Aktiengesellschaften” (Protection of Minority Shareholders in Joint Stock Companies)
and earned the title of Doctor of Law (Dr.iur.).
In 2005, he successfully completed his Associate Professorship Examination in Turkey with his work
“The Ban on Transactions with the Company and Double Representation in Joint Stock Companies”,
earning the title of Associate Professor in Commercial Law.
In 2000, he completed his internship as a lawyer in Kırıkkale.
In 1996, he completed a one-year judicial internship in various courts under the Vienna State Higher Court,
after which he briefly worked as a trainee lawyer in Vienna.
In 1997, he began working as a faculty member in Commercial Law at Marmara University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Between 2002-2004, he worked as a visiting professor at Bielefeld University Faculty of Law in Germany.
Between 2005-2011, he taught Commercial Law, Banking Law, and Capital Markets Law at Marmara University Banking and Insurance Institute and Vocational School, where he also served as a board member.
In 2008-2009, he served as Head of the Capital Markets Department at Marmara University Banking and Insurance Vocational School.
Between 2011-2014, he worked as a Professor of Commercial Law at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Law, where he also chaired the Commercial Law Department.
Between 2011-2013, he served as Vice Rector of Istanbul Aydın University.
Between 2013-2016, he was the Head of the Commercial Law Department at Trakya University Faculty of Administrative Sciences.
2005-2009 Yıllarında Almanya Münster Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesinde dönemler halinde yoğunlaştırılmış Türk Hukuku Dersleri verdi.
Between 2005-2009, he lectured on Turkish Law in intensive programs as a Lecturer (Lehrbeauftragter) at Münster University Faculty of Law in Germany.
During the 2017-2018 academic year, he lectured on Turkish Law as a Lecturer (Lehrbeauftragter) at Potsdam University Faculty of Law in Germany.
Between 2018-2020, he worked as a Professor of Commercial Law at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Law.
In 2018, he served as Acting Dean at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Law..
Currently, he is practicing as an independent attorney in Istanbul.
He is also an Economy and Law Columnist at Milliyet Newspaper.
